Where Is The Starter?
OK. I know I'm gonna be flamed for this post and I'm sorta ashamed to post it, but where it the starter?
Bottom of engine, left of right? Whats it near?
I can find a picture of its location in my Haynes manual.
Flame away!

I Wont Rip Ya...i Dont Know If It Matters Whether Or Not Its An Auto Or Manual But My 5spd Has The Starter Bolted On The Transmission. Open The Hood And Look At Where The Engine And Transmission Attach Together. Start Following That Towards The Back Of The Car And You Will See It. It Looks Kinda Like A Cylinder Sticking Out Of The Engine Block. I Dont Know How Well You Will Be Able To See It If You Have The Stock Intake Plumming But If You Have A Cai You Can See It Easily.

i just replaced mine yesterday, easiest replacement ive ever done on a car. 2 bolts, 1 nut, and 1 clip later I had the starter out. Oh, and if you haven't already gotten an aftermarket intake, now would be a good time since you will need to remove if you wanna get to the starter with ease.
i bought mine from this buy
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW
hes selling 93 of em for only $78 shipped each and they come with a 1yr warranty. he has 100% feedback rating too!
my car now starts up everytime in a single crank of the key.
BTW, listen to chenzarino - he gave you correct link for the info. It's located on the engine block on the right side facing the car beneath the intake and between the engine and battery.
