i didnt notice when this chaged...its always worked properly as far as i know. i have an auto thermostat in my car and when its set to Auto or Manual on any vent mode at 18.0 deg, its pretty cool air. if it's at 18.5 deg, it gets reaaly hot.. and then no change from 18.5 to 32.0.. just wondering if anybody has had this before ,is it the dash unit that is going wonkey on me?

I have had the exact same problem in my current Maxima and my previous one as well! I was just complaining about it yesterday. It really annoys me because I want to be able to get a temperature in between 18 and 18.5 because .5 degrees seems like a 20 degree difference. I'm thinking this must be normal for Maximas? I can still tell a difference between 19 and 32 degrees but generally not a huge one.

yeah thats what i mean sortof. except at 18.0 its almost cold air coming out no matter what setting. then at 18.5, only .5 diffrence, its hot as hell. i dunno :\

I've only owned my Maxima for 5 months during which its always been like that. My old Maxima was always like that too. It would be great if there is a way to fix it...
