lost keyless,clock,beeping. . . help

I am now starting to have wierd issues that I cant solve.

In my attempt to get my new unit to work I was trying to fix some issues with the harness, I took it out one day and this morning went to put it back in and test it out. My farenheight dvd player unit wouldnt power up. I checked all my cables everything was plugged in antenna adapter wasnt plugged in firmly. still no power.

the unit

The harness and those black boxes have fuses in them big box is a 5amp fuse the other I dont know

when I took out the key and put it back in I heard the CD player spinning or making a loading type of noise but still no display no power, wont eject anythig.

Also when going to get something else and I tried o lock the doors with keyless, it wouldnt do it, I also get no beeping sound when the door is open, and no clock display. I checked the bose, audio, electic parts (2) fuss all looked fine. The Dvd player unit has these cylindrical fuses I dont know how to check if there bad but they look good.

please help.. thanks

Check the ELEC fuse that is in the interior fuse panal. The ELEC fuse is at the top right hand corner. My keyless stop working and i pulled out that fuse and it seemed fine so I put it back in and my keyless worked again. See if this works for you.

Yes, it would, another org member with the same symptoms as you pull the elec fuse and put it back and it worked for him. Post back if it works, this should be in the sticky's as it is a easy fix to a headache problem.

yep check the elec fuse it is way up there in the fuse box at the very top. I had those exact same things and it turned out to be the fuse. I believe it is a 7.5A fuse.
