Intake Adapter

Anyone know where I can get an intake adapter in brooklyn?
I need one that is similar to
http://images.andale.com/f2/130/127/...0AirFilter.jpg

and will fit a K&N 4" Filter.
The inlet is 3"

You can make one out of your stock airbox.

If you look inside the airbox, there's a gold piece with a flare that extends into the box. Drill out the rivets and bolt that directly to the MAF. Then strap the filter to the gold piece. Be careful not to bend the gold piece and make sure you seal any gaps between it and the MAF.

Kind of guetto, but maybe you can make it work. Go to a local parts store (if not, a muffler shop) and look for an exhaust reducer from 4" to 3". I dont know if they even make them at 4" diameter, but you never know. Give it a try if all else fails. Check Home Depot as well, maybe they have something similar for plumbing.

I was told the same thing from a local parts store when I was putting mine together, if you cant get something from a muffler shop, try (and yes it sounds bad) black water pipe from a home improvement store (home depot, lowes, or jerrys and fred meyers even) should work just fine for an intake.
