I saw theblue's paint job(from previous thread) on his engine and calipers. He used matallic blue and looked nice. I wanna do that too, but have never painted calipers and also i'm new to this. I'm jus guessing but when you paint the calipers, you don't have to take it out to paint it right? Or do i have to remove the calipers to paint it? Also, theblue, which paint did you use? I want to use the same paint that you used brand, where you bought it etc. heh

Calipers

You don't have to take the calipers off. Just leave them
on and mask everything from the overspray. There is a paint kit out(forgot name)that comes with a small brush.

Folia Tec is another

But it is brush-on only. I removed my calipers to paint them, but I rebuilt them at the same time. I used a wire wheel on them and 2 cans of brake cleaner to get them down to the silver factory paint. I found it just as easy as doing all of that tedious masking. Makes a very durable coating that is easy to keep clean afterwards.

Just pick up some high temp paint so it won't peel with the heat. Any auto parts store will carry them.
