Hmm, OK. For some reason I pictured the SFCs going on the underbody inside of the frame rails (maybe from a pic on Warpspeed's site) but that wouldn't make very much sense, would it?

Now somebody tell me what's the deal with the SFCs...the site still says "available February 2005".

i'll tell ya what the deal is.. there aint none.. warpspeed has been telling me that they will be ready " IN ABOUT A WEEK ", for 4 months now.. they told me that when i made this thread, which is when they "finally" started taking orders, and if you call them tomorrow they will tell you, "in about a week". personally, im debating on not ordering them just for the point of it all.. a two week delay- fine.. OVER four months of outright lies is just not a company i think i want to deal with.

Yeah, I hear you. So many companies are like that, though. Warpspeed's been pretty supportive of the Maxima modding community so I wouldn't get too mad at 'em. They'll be ready when they're ready, hopefully by next month because that's when I want mine.

I talked to them a few days ago and it was still in "a couple weeks" mode- they were talking about the orders that they had to fill before they could take more orders, but Im not totally sure thats an improvment.

BTW, heres a pic that I found of stage 1+2

Maybe everyone on this thread should get together and we set a day to ALL call warpspeed and tell them that we want it... that might get some attention... what do you say? Lets aim for this friday?

I think a Monday would be much better than a Friday...that way they got all week to finish whatever needs finishing. If we do it on Friday then it makes a great impression but then they have all weekend to forget about it.

Why do you need pics to make your own?

OK, Who is in for calling WS on monday May 30 and telling them they need SFC stage 1+2?

By my count we are at 2. Hopefully people have 1 minute to spare to try to get this thing rolling and we can get at least 7 people to pitch in....

I just got off the phone with WS and the lady is going to call me back after trying to get an update. In talking to her, I really got the feeling that we can make an impression and get Dallas to prioritize these if we synch up.. Will update if I get more info.

Yep I'm in. We'll need a reminder, though, so whoever remembers post on Sunday and/or Monday in this thread.

SFCs are probably going to be my favorite mod if they are as good as they're supposed to be. I hope it doesn't cost more than $100 to have someone weld Stage 1.

I have good news!!!!! After persistent yet polite calling, I guess the time has become right because....

I PLACED MY ORDER TODAY!!!

Thats right folks, they told me that a bunch were shipped for the previous orders, and they thought my order would go out soon (TOMORROW!!!)

$212 bucks all included (well, not installation)

So this means that you need to call and order it up!!!

I won't even get into how different the car is supposed to feel after this mod... A 15 min talk with Dallas had me practically drooling into the little holes on the talking end of the phone.

DAMN...that's wonderful to hear. Also good to know that they weren't just lying when they said they had previous orders to fill. Please let us know when you get it.

Also, I realized that Monday is Memorial Day so don't anyone bother calling then...but I'm sure you would have figured that out. I am super low on funds but I will probably order within two weeks.

When people start to receive their new SFCs and install them, please post a link here to a new thread which will be the grand installation tips/write-up/cost thread. Thanks!
