I hadnt considered doing a write up for the fact that Im sure the install would be different in each case.
When I spoke with bhmax about his install to try gain some pointers it seems that his install was a bit different. That may have been due to him having a powered base and mine being manual.
Like I stated before, you just have to be a bit creative and have patience.
When I removed the seat pan and went to install it onto my OEM rails, right away i noticed that the mounting holes were nowhere near the same.
The fronts bolted up, but the rears were really off.
I created a bracket that attached to the holes on the seat pan on one end and to the rails on the other.
The backrest similiar. The mounting holes on the Maxima base didnt line up at all with the ones in the 350z seats side.
I got a bit creative on that part as well, it took some trial and error fitting to get them to recline back and fourth without flopping around.
It hard to explain without actually seeing it.
I guess I should have taken pics, but at the time I was more concerned with getting them to work then doing a documentation.
If I have time one day, I guess I could pull one out and snap some pics of the underside where the rails meet the seats base and of the seats sides bolting into the seatback.

yea getting a set of Leather Z seats in there would be sick, get power to it so its adjustable. . .

Leather would be the sh#t, but I can imagine they would be $$$.
It may just be cheaper to buy real racing seats, unless the lleather ones were found for cheap.

350z seats are some of the most comfortable seats that i have sat on. i want a pair for my maxima and my truck. i have some 240sx (s13) seats for my truck. whoever came up with the idea for a bench seat should be lynched. i'm surprised i dont have back problems
