I have the stock 16" SE alloy rims, which i found weight about 19.2 pounds. Now ive found after market rims like the SSR which weight like 12 pounds at 400 a piece. I was wondering if there are any other rims that come stock on other cars that weight less and are 16" or 17" at a good price plus look pretty good that fit are cars? Also how can you be sure it will fit on the maxima? I think its 5 lug with a 35 MM offset correct? A site or personal info is much needed. Im sure this is beating the horse, then lighting it on fire! 
Ya on http://www.superhonda.com/tech/wheel_weights.html ive found two, Mazda RX7 FD3S Cast 16x8 15.4 and Mazda RX7 FD3S - PFD Cast (Brittle) 16x8 13.8. It would be nice to ge those brittle ones at 13.8 pounds, how is the best to find these rims ebay or junk yards? Also what is the brittle mean? more for me to research now
So rx7 looks like a good choice there two types i see reinforced and non reinforced with them being about 15 and 13 for weights. So the light weight(non reinforced) have/can crack, ive read the rx7 forums, but do production dates or tranny have really anything to do with rim type? it seems there is a letter system. http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.ph...inforced+wheel
I checked car-parts.com and they got a ton of rx7 rims, which you can choose MT or AT, so so ill have to question them good to know what im getting. And one last question where do you get 5 mm spacers at any auto store or just search for them online?

at 500 a set free shipping wow, i bet they will look nice....what should i get 16" at 14.5 pounds or 17" at 16.5. i wont be going to the track, but that will make me a nice street racer. I like the 16" size rims, i dont have the drop yet but that will be next on my list. Also Rota grid, nice site dawg im going to take you in my pearl white maxima auto ^^
