C/F trunk lid, and lid springs

For those of you that have a Carbon Fiber trunk lid, did you do anything to modify the trunk props? I was pusing on mine the other day with no trunk lid on the car, and they are a lot stronger than I thought. Have you guys some how reduced the spring? Or do you just put up with it flying up? I am afraid something will break if I do not modify the springs some how. Thanks for the help.

I PMed EZEmax, he was saying this his really flew up, and so he put a wing on it to make it more heavy. I am not going to add a wing to mine so I was wondering if anyone has moded the springs, or something else.

I say remove the springs that max comes with. They are helper springs and would not be needed with your car. If you insist on having springs or something of the sorts, I would get hood struts and modifiy them to work with the trunk
