Car makes weird scissors noise. Come in to read more.

I have noticed this a while ago When I drive by streets with trees along side or through a bridge my car makes a noise that sounds like scissors opening and closing real fast, if that makes since. This can also be heard at idle outside the car. I don't really know what to make of it. I changed the oil when it was time and still made the noise, there is no noticable lose in power either. I don't fear anything from it, I just want to make sure it is nothing seriouse. Sorry for the spelling errors, I'm not to good with spelling.

HAHA, I know exactly what your talking about. I have the same problem. I think the reason mine does this is because I removed all the under engine panels so now the noise from the belts is making that noise

I still have my underpanels but I took off my exhaust heat shield, that could be it. Thanks for the responses.
