sky 99, you have zenetti fives, you go with the silver or chrome? man, when i was looking for wheels i was almost set on buying them....they are a very clean looking wheel.....you have any pics?

 

Zenetti 5's and Miglia's, wow. You guys spent some real dough on your 18's. Very nice look both of them, for sure.

 

Flood, you mean 245's fit fine with no rubbing issues? Looks like you're lowered some, too.

I went with the silver, I'm not a big fan of chrome. I didn't take any pics last year, but I should be putting them back on this weekend and I will definately take a few pics.

 

Hey Flood you got any exhaust mods on your car? I'm thinking of buying a Cattman Y-pipe and I need to know a good place around ATL to get it installed. I mean a good place but not a ripoff. There's a bunch I see but I don't have any clue about reputation or price or anything. BTW, anyone ever thought about putting 350z 18's on, or even doing it? I think I'm going to do that. I've figured it up and looks like they should fit.

 

I'm running 19's with 235/35/19 Nitto 555 Extreame's, lowered suspension and KYB AGX adjustables and my handling is great. the ride is a little rough but i guess it comes with the territory. im about to switch over to the tokico HP's and see how those work out. for braking I upgraded to X-drilled and slotted all the way around so there's no problem there!

 

Venom, sounds like you have a really nice set up there and about to get even nicer. Do you have any pix to post?

 

I have 245's as well no rubbing issues at all same as Flood, we both have Alessio's not Mille Miglia's, I couldn't be happier with the ride, I previously had 17" but it was a look thing for me. But when you drop make sure you go with an adjustable shock ( I run illumina's excellent with eibach's) , you can adjust your stiffness then the difference between 17" and 18" is irrelevant. Consider 245's

 

I've been running 18x8 Voxx Scorze w/235/40s for 20,000 miles now & I'm very pleased w/the change. Performance change from my stock 15s was night-day. Stock brakes didn't seem to have probs but I only ran the stock brakes for 15,000, now I have the 300ZX BBK. My next set of tires I'm going to 245/40s, but I'm still waiting for Discount to get these in(1 week been waiting) I swapped out the stock springs about 10,000K ago to Eibach pro kit. Alot rougher ride but w/KYB AGXs handling was once again improved night-day. Hope my feedback helps!! jblinga

 

the 245 size tire looks very nice on an 18" rim, it also adds protection against curb rash

That would depend more on the rim offset than the tire's width.

A 245 series is only 0.39" wider than a 235.

 

no, no sticking out.....it just looks like the rim has more rubber surrounding it

hard to explain, but when i get new tires i'll try and run a 255......you would definitely see the difference if you compared a 225 and 245 tire side by side.....the 225 makes the wheels look cheap

also, sky 99 good choice on silver for the zenetti's

 

The offset on my rims are 38mm...what do you think?

with a 38mm offset, you'd be fine running a 245 and it would look damn good

 

They fill up the well nicely without overflow. Keep the pix coming, brother. Looks nice. I guess it's good we drive 4x4's, a lot of room for big rubber. How heavy are your Miglias?

 

they are made by alessio actually, and have a few slight differences from the evo5's, like the lugs being placed between the spokes

weight wise, i need to actually put them on a scale the next time i take them off.....i do know they are slighty heavier than stock since i swap them back and forth a lot....mainly just when the car goes on long trips or when i had some body work done a few months ago

 

I see. They are nice looking wheels. I found out my Muranos weigh 35lbs. My stockers are only about 20lbs. Pretty good weight difference.

 

yeah mine are probably in the 28-30lb. range

just remember the tires you're going to put on there will weigh less than the stock ones, so you'll gain a little ground there

just weigh each tire/wheel combo when you get your new tires mounted and see what the actual difference is
