LED Gauge Mod concern
I purchased 5 SUPER WHITE 194 CLEAR INVERTED LENS from superlumination.com we (SonicDust187) and I installed them in my gauges but they look almost purple and are not very bright... what gives??? My polarg hyper white 194 in the shifter (auto) (PRND21) also looks bluish rather than whitish... I want a super white look sorta like Wariow's gauges... what LEDS should I use??

it'll always be blue no matter what bulb you put in there, there's a blue tint on the back of the gauges but I told sonic before that if you use the inverted "white" led bulbs, they'll emit a very bluish color. Try getting some "hyperwhite" 194 bulbs and stick those suckers in. They'll still come out blue but not purplish.

I wanna do my Gear select bright white too, have yet to try the Polargs tho. I sorta assumed they would work since they worked in my gauges...but guess not. Try another Hyperwhite like nisomtic said. DO NOT try those White LEDs off of SuperBright, cuz it will not be white. It will be very blue/purple like Wariow said. You need a tinted/painted blue bulb that emits a white light, to cut through the blue shield or whatever is underneath the surface. I even tried them Inverted ones off SuprBright in my Courtesy Lights, straight clear lense and they still were purple in color. Made no sense, but they suck.
Only problem I've had with the Polargs is I've had to take my dash apart a couple times to replace them after blowing out...made no sense. I put them in with gloves on so I don't know if that has happened to you or not.
Look at the RPM Gauge...Polargs compared to the Inverted White LEDs from SuperBright:
