Stock Boost Sensor??
Stock Boost Sensor??
Hey, I've looked for a previous thread on this, but to no avail. Anyway, who knows what the point of the boost sensor is on a 96 SE? It was bolted on to the stock ram intake, and when I put in my CAI, i don't what to do with it. Can anyone explain what they did, or what the point of it is? Thanks
there is a point- it measures the atmospheric pressure i beileve and gives that info to ur car
there is no point- cause it doesnt affect ur driving or mileage or nothing
u dont know wat to do with it? my check engine light code came on to it but when i fixed my maf it went away, usually it comes back in 3 days, u can ship that **** here and it would be greatly appreciated (im the type of guy that wants his **** stock and to run forever) -(to cherish the moments) lol
so ya...the boost sensor a.k.a absolute pressure sensor

The boost sensor measures manifold absolute pressure (MAP) and atmospheric pressure. The valve it's attached to switches between the two depending on what the ECU calls for.
