Car trouble

Today I tried to change out my knock sensor using the "cut your hands to lunchmeat" method. Unfortunately that didn’t work so great. I was forced to take off the intake and get down and dirty. After finding those two bolts on the back of the plenhum things went smoothly, KS in and reading 550ohms perrrfect. Got everything back together, all bolts tightened, all connectors plugged in and all hoses where their supposed to be. I start it and .... aww ****.
It will turn over and fire up for about 7 seconds. It tires to idle really really lumpy and then after about 10 seconds the rpms drop and it stalls. I;ve tried reving it a bit to keep it from stalling but the rpms will still drop and stall out. I heard a few pings while I had my girlfriend start it while I was under the hood.
The ECU is through NO codes at all, just 0505 :\

If anyone has any ideas what it could be please help

Recheck all your hose connections and make sure they are all on real tight. It sounds like it could be vacumn leak somewhere

Sounds like massive vacuum leak. Make sure your plenum connection to intake is good. Its easy to hang up on the 2 rear brace supports.

ok, all better now. The lower RPMs are much nicer now.

turns out when I was putting everything back together the first time I only hand tightened the EGR guide tube bolts. (smack head) see what happens when men try to multitask
