my car is truely falling apart

I got a brand new 02 sensor in and when i attempted to reset the ECU...the screwhead falls off. ****** awesome. what are my options? OBDII Scanner to reset the ECU?

OBDII will clear the codes, except I dunno if AutoZone or wherever else will do it.

trust me my car has been falling apart since the day i bought it. i average a new problem every 2 weeks.

I have a OBDII scanner. Makes it so much easier to reset codes. Only costed me $100 or so I believe.

Nah theres a site, and I'm sorry I can't remember it but it says in the ECU checking section, "if you find the screw is already broken off, you will need to open it .." or something to that effect so it is possible to repair.. so

This might be a stupid question, but have you tried putting the screw back in? My screw is stripped, but I still manage to turn it, somehow. It takes a while, but it works.

the guy who owned my car before me broke it off....so i bought a scanner off of ebay for 40 bucks or so.

nah, i haven't tried that. i don't think that i will, if i can get my hands on a OBDII scanner.

Disconnect your negative battery cable for half an hour or more, it will reset your ECU
