Squeaking

Squeaking

O.k. need a little help, when I hit a bump or dip in the road I here a squeaking sound. Is that for the chassis or the shoxs and struts.

Sounds like a bushing problem.

What bushings are you talking about and is it expensive to fix?

Pretty much any suspension or steering component could be making the noise.

I suggest starting with the front swaybar. It's not too hard to remove to inspect the bushings - I had on two instances the bushing that holds the bar to the frame rub through and it made a squeak on every bump.

Other possibilities include the lower control arm bushings or balljoints.
