CAI installation question

CAI installation question
I just got a BOMZ cold air intake for my 95 gle. I looked up the install instructions on the 4th gen How To sticky. It showed a template to cut the whole but, of corse, Bomz doesn't send a template. What do you suggest I do?

it doesnt need to be exact. you can get a good idea of where to drill from the pictures in the how-to. just pick a spot that looks close to the one in the picture and drill. I also did not have a template, and it turned out fine. just line up the intake tubing before you drill or else you might have clearance issues with the battery or fusebox
good luck

After taking a second look at this thing, do I even have to cut the fender to put a Bomz CAI in? It doesn't look like it. I guess I'll find out when I try to install it. Does anyone have pics of a Bomz CAI in their car???

i had pics, but dont know where they went. you will have to cut into your fender if you want it to be CAI, or you can just leave the other tubing alone and go short ram. I'm going to redrill the hole in mine because i didnt guess too well on where to drill. Didnt help i put the tubing the wrong way.
