Screw snapped in half need some help

I was installing my ground kit today and when I went to tighten the 2 screws on the intake manifold, one of them snapped in half so now I have half the screw stuck in the manifold and that wire just dangling. The only picture I could find is from motorvate directions on installing the knock sensor for those people who arent sure what 2 screws I am talking about. What should I do and is this a problem if I drive around like this? I started the car up and no cel or anything

Go to auto zone. They sell a broken bolt removal system. Its very handy to have an covers many different sizes. You will also need a electric drill corded or cordless.

dont know where the bolt/screw is that your talking about.. but before u start drilling into anything; if the bolt is broken flush with whats its screwed into, try taking a small chisel, and hammering a small grove into the broken bolt, wide enough to fit the end of a flathead screw driver in it.. and try to unscrew it

That's a good idea.

Maybe not in this case, but if you have a situation where you have access below, you can often drill a pilot hole down the center of a bolt, and use pliers and twist the part below, and it will snap. This is a nut/bolt situation, not where it's threaded into its anchoring source. That's what I did when I rebuilt my toilet. Usually not worth it given the price of toilets, but I didn't want to deal with the wax ring, so I replaced all the gaskets and parts on the flush side. Those brass bolts holding the water tank are almost always rusted.
