I haven't been on the forums in a while, but I'm hoping that someone can help me with a problem that I am having with my car.

In the past two days, it has stalled three times. It happened once when I put the car in park in a parking lot last night. It just shut off before I turned the car off. The second time was on my way up to school today. I was stopped at a red light. The light turned green, and I hit the gas to go and the car just shut off. The third time was also today when I was at the ATM. I put the car in park while I was withdrawaling my money. I put the car in drive and hit the gas, and the car just shut off.

It isn't sputtering or anything... it just shuts off. After it shuts off, it doesn't seem to have any trouble starting back up, with the exception of the time that it happened at the bank. It hesitated before it started. The check engine light is not on. I honestly don't know what could be causing this. The car has seemed to be running a little funny lately. It's hard to explain, but, for example, when I'm on the interstate with the cruise control set at 80mph, the car seems to have trouble maintaining it's speed. It's kind of like it is hesitating while I'm driving, if that makes sense.

Does anyone have any ideas on things that I can check for what might be causing this problem?

When was the last time you changed your spark plugs, fuel filter and air filter?

 

The spark plugs and fuel filter were changed at 60K. I have 85K now. I have a Stillen Intake with the K&N Air Filter, which I just cleaned a few weeks ago.

 

Does anyone have any idea? It is worse now... I just stalled out about 5 or 6 times on the way home from school.
