Knocking sound/feeling from pedals...

I'm getting a strange undecipherable knocking sound that I can also feel in my clutch/brake pedals. I can't figure out exactly what is causing it and I can't find any loose parts in the area. It usually happens when I'm coasting and going over bumps...

I'm stumped. Anybody else run into this before?

if you can imagine a pice of metal bending and making a pop/knock sort of sound then that's mine right there. right below my feet...
i think its my trani, might be yours too since its right under there isnt it?
only happens when the tension shifts on the car ie. give it more gas or brake. and not all that often..
im thinking i might just need to toghten somehting because its shifting? any info?

So we've got a bunch of problems but no solutions... I was thinking possibly the CV joint(s)?

my sound is more of a mini plastic diving board under my dash/steering column. it's best heard over the tiniest bumps. i just hope it isn't life threatening bc i am currently broke.
