where are the back 2 intake manifold bolts?????please help

where are the back 2 intake manifold bolts?????please help

i am taking it all off right now to change my valve cover gaskets and i cant find the back 2 bolts-everything else is fine i just cant find the back2 -can someone please tell me exactly where they are? please -thanks so much

They are... on the back. Just put your hand back there and start feeling around for them. They are spaced about 4-6" apart I'd say, they are bolted through two metal braces coming up from the block, and you also have to remove the EGR bolts to get the IM off if that's what you're trying to do.

I would say that they are about hand length down from the top of the IM too. Just squeeze your hand back there.

They are on brackets, I believe they are 14mm

Just take your time when trying to get them of because it's hard to get to them. Also be aware of the 2 coolant hoses and 2 EGR tube bolts you will need to disconnect to pull the manifold off.

It is possible to remove the IM manifold out of the way without disconnecting the 2 coolant hoses in the back.

i just finished up the project but now its rough-it like goes from 1k-1.5 and just juumps around a lil bit ???????? any idea -i checked everything over again -i dunno what it could be -maybe intake or something?

Check to make sure all your coils are plugged in. Double check all the hoses around the throttle body. I know I missed a few connections when I put mine back together. Did you hook the MAF back up? Is there a CEL?
