Atta boy.

Y-pipe is a great mod. Check your ecu to make sure your knock sensor is good before throwing go-fast goodies on. It's the best 'mod' for your money imo, since it seems all used 4th gens have bad ones.

I despise rice, on that note I have underdash White cold cathodes, they do however have a purpose, on my previous car, a Buick Park Avenue, I had underdash illumination when I opened the doors, however, on my I30 there is none, so I got fed up and wired a dual 12" CCFL unit into the interior illumination so that when the doors are open I have floorboard illumination in white, and when the doors aren't open, well, they're off.

It can be very nice under the dash lighting up your feet but if your gonna do it get cathodes instead cheaper and brighter. They can be handy when you drop something down there I have not put any in yet but it would look really nice with the leds and headunit.

I had them in my 3rd Gen. I had blue ultrabrites under the dash that I even made special brackets for so that they wouldn't be seen at all and a smaller set of ultrabrites under the rear seat(i used black zipties and tied them to the carpet direct under the bottom of the seat). They were hott for the whole damn summer and they even flashed to the bass of whatever music I was playing in the car. Girls will think it's so cute or it's so clubbish until it gets cold and then it just looks stupid in the winter time with it flashing in your car with the windows up. It's your own preference though. If you do it and it looks hot then it's a plus. If you do it and you don't like it then scrap it !! I probably wont do neons to my 4th gen but I will change all the interior lighting orange (something different)

personally, i would spend my money on the performance. Other than that, my eyes are sensitive to light at night, so those things are not good for me. If it'll make you happy and good, go for it. No disco ball pls

It looks good at car shows, parked, an in tatse. All the ones I've seen were installed in the roof and light up th whole inside of the car. I dunno about riding around with them on all the time though.

If you want to put neon in your car do it. If it was me I would put led's in place of the interior lights. That way it won;t be to over powering and you won't look wierd with blue light shining out of your car. I do think the neon lights look good in show cars but not for everyday drivers.

I'm with everyone when they say do what you want. It really depends on what you going for, show/go/ or both. They are really good for both indoor and night shows like euromaxima said, but you can't over do it. If you doing it just to do it... I wouldn't advise it unless you doing show.

And hey about the next fast and furious movie...all you know if someone say they'll pay for your car to be on the movie...ALL OF YOU would jump at the offer. I know I would, that's money in my pocket for more boost mods And for the movie I'll put 10000000 neons on my car so every would see it
