Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor....

Can someone post a pic of where on the engine it is and how easy it is to change it. My car keeps throwing the code and I need to change it. Thanks.

very easy to change, a wrench is all you need. hard to describe where it is but its the second sensor to the right of the front set of cylinders, its under some coolant tubes, should be green.

you'll need some thread sealant to put on the new sensor before installing.

Check this thread http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=401746

Its in the upper radiator hose, normally your snorkel air intake will obscure the view, so remove that and there it is.

The dirty one with just the single black cable is for the temp gauge.
The one with yellow & black is the ECU one.

Stickies tell you how to check and replace
