I checked ebay. and they only have silverstars. Google. Hmm. all i get is links back to maxima.org about how xtravisions are the best. So, I know Walmart has them but living in the Bronx makes the commute to wallmart an hour ride.

Check any local parts store, they should be there. Its not like they are a limited edition commodity thats super duper rare.

That's what I keep hearing about the silverstar. I'm surprised though that Xtravisions are not being sold on ebay. I'm going on search tomorrow to all the part places I know. I went to AUtozone two weeks ago, but they didn't have it.

I have mine for over a year, with no problems. Maybe you got a bad one
I made sure i don't get any oil on them, so i wear some Hospital gloves to install it.

www.froogle.com

any auto parts place

Most "higher" performance xenon bulbs with a blue film on them will not last as long as a normal bulb. They are meant to look bright and they compromise longevity in the process. An upgraded harness will sometimes lengthen their lifespan.

I love my 9007 Xtravisions. I bought the ntbk upgraded harness, did the 9007 conversion and got the xtravisions and now I can actually see at night.

a grounding kit should take care of that.

Ok, after 3 hours of endured pain traveling to different stores I ended up finding the Xtravisions at Pep Boys. I should of went there first, but I thought other places would have them. They cost $22.99 for two by the way.

That's Kentucky. Up here in NY everything is allways over priced. That's why most of the NY members order everything online or have a connection.

which if the two (xtravission or silverstars or other) are whiter and brighter? I've had 9004 Piaa Xtreme whites for a couple of years and I love them but I'm changing the headlights lights soon so i'm in the market for knew bulbs but don't want to spend $70 for PIAA bulbs again.

Xtravisions have been called the superior bulb for Maximas b/c not only are they 20% brighter than Silverstars but they last longer. You need to make sure that you upgrade to the 9007 harness otherwise the bulbs are going to melt everything.

You dont need to do that. They are a direct OEM replacement. No overwattage or anything.

I have cefiros (not yet installed) with the h4 harness that I have to splice into the factory harness. Do I need to upgrade the whole harness for the H4 xtravisions? Will they melt my factory harness? ............... I'm not trying to steal your thread speed racer, I'm just trying to get some info.

Stock 9004 bulbs are 45W/65W and 9007 are 65W/55W so H4 bulbs should be fine if they're at 65W or below

No you won't the high beams are lower wattage than stock and the lows are only about 10W more, you won't melt the stock harnesses... however, with an upgrade harness or one of Matt Blehm's grounding kits (or both if you're ambitious) your lights will be brigher and constant. As for what's better? The Xtravisions are brighter, the Silverstars are whiter. If anyone has a problem with finding Xtravisions at a decent price (under 20 for a pair) let me know.

And for those who don't know... an H4 = a 9003
