HID idea??

i'm not retarded but i was wondering several things to get rid of the glare everyone b*tches about. if u open the headlights..as if u were doing the AE mod. and then ran a peice of black plastic with a decent sized circular hole cut in it from the one edge to the other and then glued it...wouldnt that be a way to reduce glare? or if you took vinyl and put it on the outside of ur lenses with a hole cut in?? i mean i'm not a rocket scientist but its an idea..?
wut do you professors have to say..

I would think retrofitting a projector, and then getting the best optical clarity out of the headlight lense as possible. I.E. get some plastic wax, wet send the lense and buff it (possibly the inside as well) and get it as perfect as possible, with the projector as close to the lense as possible (I would think, but I could be severely wrong...)

Do you have any idea how hot it gets inside that headlight housing, especially with HID? Plastic and vinyle will not last in there! Your best solution is projectors. Or you can aim your headlights lower.

Your best bet is shield if you do not want projectors.
