Fog lights QUIZ!!!

Was in a trip a few days ago and one of my fog lights burnt. So i went to the store and got replacement(same wattage and stuff) and changed both of the bulbs just incase the color would be different(didn't buy some blue or whatever-regular) and the result is:it has been working for a half an hour and BOTH OF THE BULBS BURNT!!! So I would like to get some opinions on what could cause that. Thanks

have your charging rate checked. it is possible your alternator voltage is too high. this is only one of many possibilities though.

You handled the bulbs with your hands and didn't clean them before you installed them.

yea, you can't touch the glass of the bulbs or the natural oils from your hands can really shorten their life.

anyone know why this is

this only applies to your main headlight bulbs. any halogen bulb, the glass is actually crystal which absorbs the acid that is released from your skin.

Check the grounds. If they are a little rusty the poor ground path could cause them to over heat and burn out

The fuse burnt out-put the new one and it burnt out the second I turn the fogs on, so probably I didn't isolate the wire right installing the bulbs or the unisoleted themselves when I pushed it inside.. .Will check. Thanks for the input everyone!!!!
