There's no hope for you ---> Search works fine for me because I donated .. took me a while but I did ...

But until you decide to donate, do as Tatanko said ...

Don't install the supercharger, box up all of the parts and send them to me.

The idea of all that extra power is nice, BUT I have read too many threads about problems with them, even ones purchased from Stillen and installed at a reputable shop.

If you are not a good amatuer mechanic I'd stay far away. If you are a good car tinkerer, then it might be worth thinking about. Maybe. It's still a lot of money and a lot of headache. And you will likely have a lot of car downtime, so you better have an alternate ride to work/school whenever things are going wrong!

If I was really good with cars I might go for it myself, but I just don't have the time, knowledge, or energy for the challenges it brings...

Just food for thought.

The usual problems I've read about so far are:
1- belt alignment
2- pulleys melting
3- bearing rebuilds
4- oil leaks

I've only had problems 1 and 3 so far.

I had to learn to be an amateur mechanic. Its good to get intimate with your car and how it works.

I don't have much time either or energy either but when I have both available then I'll do it. Feels good to save money and not give it away to a mechanic.

One thing missing here is money. As it has been said before, "you wanna play, you gotta pay".

I have a love/hate relationship going on with the SC: love it when its working well, hate it when something goes wrong.

Stealerships will either treat you indifferently if you have mods or applaud your efforts.
