quick question CORNER LIGHT removal

How do i remove the parking lights/corner lights? I'm trying to do the AE mod, and i assumed you have to take the corner lights off to get the headlights off.
ANYWAY HOW DO I REMOVE IT?
I unscrewed the obvious top screwe and tugged on it a little and its only partially popped out, i dont want to force it.

As for the corner lights...dont listen to the idiots telling u to pull with all your strength. You can use your brain and have 0% chance of breaking them. Theres a nub on the corner light that fits into a place behind it. What you need to do after you pop it out on the side is take a long (around 12 inch) flat head screw driver and a flashlight, locate this nub and where its placed into. Place the flathead in between the nub and the plastic thing its in an turn the screwdriver in order to create force to pop it out. You wont have to force it. Its by the side where the headlight is right under the hood.

Anyone local want to donate a pair to me?? I'll even let you drive my NSX if you help me out. I know I have them laying around the garage, but I can't find them and then I'd feel really stupid if I bought some and then I found them.

Oh well, let me know. If someone local has some, and knows how to drive stick, let me know. Or else I'll just buy some...

Thanks,
- Zishan

Hey guys, I just found the outer lights...

Chillin014,

Out of the 2 pieces on the right, which one burnt out? Let me know, I can pull the NSX out of storage tomorrow and meet up if you have the 2 pieces I need.

Thanks,
- Z

Somehow I get the feeling you guys aren't talking about the same set of lights. Take a look at this picture of my car:

Chillin, I believe you're referring to the "clearance lights" (the one circled in green) and Zishan you're referring to the "corner lights" (the ones circled in blue).

Chill means he literally melted his CLEARANCE light housing (due to a high wattage bulb I'm guessing?), meaning the housing is unuseable, not just a bulb burnt out.

Correct me if I'm wrong though...

Damn, you're right! I was all wrong. Sorry guys, I'm new to this forum, and I just picked up the Maxima as a daily driver. I forgot about those 2 corner lights.

Thanks for the clarification,
- Zishan

If you still need some let me know. I have a set...I believe on one of them it has a small nub that is broken off on the inside that you can only see when they are out of the car but it doesn't affect the functionality (never fell out on me or anything while I had them on my max). Who knows, the "defective" one may not even be one of the pieces you still need. Let me know because even though I'm local I'll give them to you as long as you pay HALF the shipping, that's all I ask (and my aunt lives in Houston so next time I'm down there visiting her maybe we can meet up) Let me know if you're interested in the lights (you can keep your old clears as well)
