I don't autocross my car. I don't carve corners often. Should I really care if I get an LSD tranny or not?

Nice to have...why? My understanding of it is the power delivery shifts when coming out of a turn. The LSD transmissions don't hold more power than their non-LSD counterparts, do they?

if you plan on pushing a lot of power to the ground its nice to have. the LSD tranny keeps the car from having a lot of torque steer. I'm just glad my car came equipped with the VLSD tranny from the factory.

Well, there's a VQ35 swap in my future and from what I've read there's a fair bit of torque steer to deal with. Sounds like I'd be best off with an AE tranny.

I got stuck in snow a few times last winter with my open diff. With LSD, I doubt you will get stuck in anything

I think everyone pretty much summed up why its nice to have. I say, why not? But good luck finding one, I have been looking and there are none in the country right now.

I'm keeping prices and whatnot to myself for the time being. Sorry to be a **** about it but if I can get one, I'm helping myself first.
