Take it to the dealer and tell them to remove it, thats what I did. From what ive seen, if you request it, they have to remove it.

Edit - they did it with wd40 and a razor if you do not wish to see them again.

DO NOT DO THIS.

Why would you risk cutting off paint when it's so easy to do safely? You could probably even do it by parking in the sun for a little while and pealing it off.

My dealer gave me a lisence plate instead of stickers, but I've heard that a heat gun or blow dryer and floss will work. There are also products designed to take sticky residue off windows. That might work, but I don't know if those would also strip the paint.

Goo gone is usually a safe alternative and using a plastic type putty knife to scrape is usually equally as safe. Just make sure the plastic scraper is soft. And apply even pressure while scraping.

The stuff that the dealer used on my car was this gritty stuff that looked like it had been stenciled on. It came right off with Goo Gone and I can't even find where the dealer sticker had been (this was almost ten years ago now!). When I took them off of my dad's '02 Max I peeled them off with my fingers and just washed with soap and water...but again the car was brand spanky new so it wasn't hardened on there from years of weather.

Good luck!
