Lightened Pulleys and UDP
Where can I get a lightened stock sized crank pulley? I need to change my belts...so I might as well upgrade the pulley.
Also, I'm going to have about 1200w RMS to my sound system through two crazy amps w/ 1F Capacitor. Can I use a UDP? Can ppl with sound systems chime in and tell me what kind of system they have and do you headlights dim?
My car was recalled and I got the new alternator if that helps any.

You can get the pulleys from www.stillen.com or www.customenterprise.com. Also for the helping of your lights dimming you might wanna get a ground kit. You can get them just about anywhere.

Here is the stock sized alternator crank pulley. Ultra SC

And here is the underdriven crank pulley. Ultra S
Give me a call to order and get an additional 5% off!

Darn....I was hoping I could get one for 70 or 90 just like the motostorm one. I guess only UR makes the lighten stock sized one.
Is having a sound system that draws 1200w RMS too powerful for any UDP?

if you go with that UR it won't change since you are going with a light "stock" size pulley.. you won't be changing the size at all, its just going to be light....
altho they have changed the pulley on the 3.5 to a smaller one and the electrical system didn't loose any power..

Sorry for not being clear.
Can I run my 1200w RMS sound system with an UNDERDRIVE pulley?
Will I have major light dimming or driveability problems?
I would love to buy the UDP STOCK SIZED lightened one, but it's $180+. I want to know if I could get by with a $90 motostorm UNDERDRIVE pulley or is there any reliable STOCK SIZED lightened pulley I could get for under $100.

like I said...... it would only spin slower if you get a smaller size than OEM.. your power won't decrease if you get a light stock size one...
you are more likely to drop power with a smaller pulley. but like stated below they have done it to the 3.5 liter engines and even with a smaller pulley, nothing changed....
anyways, there are other ways to eliminate this dimming prob.... its called THE BIG 3 look around..

Yes, your lights will dim. I have an UDP and a modest system of ~ 150wrms and they dim. Also, I have the cold weather package alternator which is rated a little higher. I am debating trying to find a smaller alt pulley or buying one of the lightened stock-size crank pulleys. Check this link out http://www.motorvate.ca/mvp.php/521

So, an underdrive pulley is out of the question with my sound system. I wish someone made a cheaper STOCK SIZED LIGHTENED PULLEY.
