What changes did they make to the 1999?

I have noticed in a number of places in my 95-99 Maxima TSM, that the 1999 Max has its own section.

What changes did they make to the '99 from v\the '98 Max?

How does a '99 compare, performance-wise to its younger brothers?

People say its one of the slowest years of the 4th gen, people claim the 95's are the fastest.

I raced my boy's 99 gle with 80k miles on it and I have a 95 se with 186k. We were dead even, side-view mirror to mirror, up until 75 when we had to end the race. my car doesnt have any major mods except for shocks and springs, and his 99 is bone stock. im assuming that my max years ago, when it had 80k on the odometer would have beat his 99.

Probably not. You wouldn't want to screw around with the airbag systems cause they are different...actually you wouldn't want to screw around with them even if they were the same. Second generation airbags are in the 99.

This is true. I've got the icelandic pearl and I think the 97/98's have arctic pearl.
