I wouldn't get it unless you're pumping out major hp (300+whp) or doing some serious racing. It's going to be really annoying driving your car around town with a puck clutch.

Most have VERY quick and aggressive engagement, typically heavy pedal feel due to a stiff pressure plate. You'll probably be revving to 2000 for daily driving starts just to avoid clutch chatter and stalling.

I've been looking at the same clutch. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried it this particular clutch how the quality of this clutch is. Also, I've been driving a b16a civic with a strage 3 clutch. The pedal pressure is a lot harder and the engagement is pretty harsh. Just normal driving would chirp the tires pretty good. I haven't tried stage 2 yet but i've heard it's close to the same thing but just a little bit more streetable.

Also, there's an exedy clutch on sale on ebay too. I was wondering if anybody could tell me if it's the stage 1 exedy clutch or not. Just go to ebay.com and type in maxima clutch. Thanks for your help.

The cheaper Exedy clutch on ebay is probably the stage 0, OEM replacement clutch.

this is kinda sorta on topic, but....the 5-speed in my 99 it on its way out. It does great around town and never does a thing, but if I speed shift 3rd it grinds now. At any rate I was wondering if anyone has ever done a 6 speed swap out of a 02-03? Can it be done and is it worth the trouble?
