rain causes strange happenings...?

just had a lot of rainy, windy weather today. i went to work at about 3. the rain had stopped and it was warming up, and therefore very humid. i started the car and drove and stopped at the end of the driveway. my brakes felt extremely sensitive and when i would just step on them normally, the car jerked to a stop. it felt as though i was slammin the pedal down. what causes this??
also, on a related note, my windshield would have this weird film on it during the same weather conditions. not sure if it was inside or outside, but i had just washed it a few days ago and washer fluid didn't keep it away. do i need a new windshield in order for this to go away?

thanks for any info about this.

yes, it was outside in the driveway. so the rotors definitely got wet.

it did fade away, so it must have just been the water being wiped off by the calipers. i had just never noticed it before.

there was probably just a small film of rust on your rotors, nothing to worry about. as for the windshield, i have no idea whats going on, but it might be helpful to find out if its inside or out...

There could be some moisture inside your car. If it gets humid out, the moisture might ocndense on your windshield. Next time you have a sunny dry day, try airing the car out.
