KS install tip

OK I had to replace my starter so I already had all the stuff out of the way to get to the KS. I figured I know I'm up for a new one so why not crack her loose after 200K miles she was on there good. Cracked too!!. Well once I got it out and saw just how bad of shape it was in I came back in and ordered a new one while letting the car cool some more. When I went to put it back in I noticed how much of a pain it was getting it to line up. Here's what I did

12" extension and 12mm flex socket just like the instructions say. Here's where I went a little different. Knowing that if I could somehow hold the 12mm bolt in the socket while still allowing it to pull off I could put the bolt through the KS and guide it into place. Solution electrical tape. I put two small pieces of 3m super 33 on the inside of the socket sticky side facing the walls of the socket. This allowed for enough pressure to hold the KS while placing it. torque down and remove the socket and your done. No blood no mess. Sorry if this has been talked about before but I didn't see anything on it.
