My knuckles are sore from trying to punch..
the freakin squeak out of my passenger side seatbelt pillar (column?)
I've perused the stickies and the service bulletins (I may have overlooked it)
but I saw no mention of my particular squeak. (bulletin only goes up to 97')
From what I can tell, it may be hiding in the bottom section of the pillar (where the hole is) but I can't tell without pulling the column apart.
I'm just curious to know if anyone has had this squeak, and what I need to do to kill the little bastard. Supplies, how to take apart the column etc.) etc.
It's a rather cruel squeak, that only seems to go nuts when I want a nice quiet relaxing ride home.
Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

I did go banshee on the seat belt however, jerking the hell out of it hoping it would seperate whatever it is that is causing the "contact squeak".
Instead of thinking outside the box, I'll try thinking inside the pillar. Maybe I'll give the squirel some nuts and some friction tape and see if he can do it for me. lol
