Question on the variable intake from a 5th gen

Is this intake manifold on 00-01 or only 01, anyway i could tell for sure other then its black and not metal...I've started full time doing internet sales at a salvage yard that i've been at off and on for many years and today i walked by the guy that strips down the motors and he asked "hey need a manifold for your maxima" full set up off a 00 maxima siting on the ground pulled off complete with all hoses and everything. Just need to know if its the right one. I know i wouldnt be paying much for it at all...any info would help

I believe what you want is the intake manifold off a 2000 Maxima giving you what is referred to as 00VI. Given you have a 96-5-speed, a lot of .orgers combine that with a JWT ECU with a raised rev limiter (say 7200) and then hold on to your hat, lol!

Do you have an aftermarket y-pipe? That is the best bang for the buck performance enhancement for a 4th Gen Maxima.

I just had this motor put in from the salvage yard, its from a 98 with 17k miles on it, no need to swap, the must of pulled the motor apart for a reason, it might not of turned over or had a cracked block or sumthin
