Max wont start

Hi, my 97 auto max will not start now. A couple of start ups prior to it not working, the car would crank over slowly, like the battery was real low. I had the battery tested at autozone and it was still good, i took out the starter and had that tested to and it was also good. My alternator was replaced about 6 months ago, so now i have no idea why my car wont start. When i turn the key over to crank it, there is no sound. Any ideas? Thanks

Ive heard of this happening to a few people that when the turn their key, there is absolutly no sound at all. There was a few threads on here about peoples cars not starting, so if you search a few pages back you should find them. Also i think that problem for alot of them was either a bad starter OR a bad wire/connection on your ignition (right under your steering column). If there was a bad wire/connection on your ignition it would explain your starter not turning because its not gettin a signal from the ignition.

Slow cranks are caused by weak batteries, bad starters or a faulty or loose battery cable.

There have been issues with ignition switches going bad as well.

Is there any links that show how to replace the ignition switch?
