ECU EGR Flow (P0400) & Knock Sensor (P0325) not found in sticky..anyone?
Hi,
Got P0400 (EGR Flow) & P0325 (knock sensor) codes up. Tried to look it up on the sticky, but the only one that deals with the EGR Flow is 0302. I know P0325 is a knock sensor that mechanic said might go away once P0400 is resolved, but why am I not seeing the ECU codes on the sticky?
thanks

0302
Diagnostic Trouble code 0302 points to a problem with the Exhaust Gas Recirculation system. The malfunction is detected by the Engine Control Module when no EGR flow is detected under conditions which call for EGR. Possible causes include:
- The electrical harness or connectors (valve circuit open or shorted)
- The EGR valve is stuck closed
- Weak or dead battery
- The EGR passage is clogged
- Faulty EGR temperature sensor circuit
- A leak somewhere in the exhaust system

P0325 - DTC 0304... not sure where you looked in the stickies...but...

Aaah, I see now. If you look at the other sticky, you'll see mappings from the P0325->DTC 0304, so the 0304 is called a diagnostic trouble code. That translates to P0325 - there is a sticky that shows the mappings between the DTCs and PXXX codes.
Cheers.
Cheers.
