it's illegal in some states cuz it makes it hard for cops to see inside. it probably depends where u are tho. course, it also depends on how bored cops are in the area if you get in trouble. i'm tempted to try it anyway. i like the look alot better.

Titanium??

So is titanium different from quantum? I've got Solar Guard's Quantum tint in my car. It's pretty good stuff, metalized tint. Has a mirrored look to it because of the metal. I don't believe it's illegal here since about every shop carries it. If it's different from that I would also be interested in seeing a pic of it.

Never heard of 'Platinum' tint before... do you mean Titanium (Quantum is a manufacture of it)?

I believe any 'mirrored' tint is illegal on cars (at least in California). I'm not refering to the slightly mirrored stuff. I'm talking about the stuff that really looks like a mirror... used for homes. I have the quantum tint and at certain angles it looks slightly mirrored even with my light/medium combination.

here's mine...

No tickets here in Texas as long as it's 35% front and 20% rear or lighter. Here's a pic of my 99 with 35% titanium all around...
