What is this part called?

I've heard of people referring to it as the shifter trim

http://i6.ebayimg.com/04/i/04/57/fa/09_1_b.JPG

but that doesnt seem to be the name because I cant find it on the site www.trademotion.com

Anyone have any ideas? I don't have an owners manual or anything so I can't referr to that, thanks.

On trademotion it's called the "indicator hsng"

GXE/SE - $15 GLE - $96 wtf!

You can search for "center console" in the collision catalog and it should come up on the list on the left.

thanks and WOW, the price difference between the gxe/se and the gle is incredible, didn't know woodgrain would make the price fluctuate that much..

it also says to 11/94 and from 11/94, how would i know which is right for me?

There should be a sticker on the inside of your driver side door which has a production date of the car. (at least my car did..)

If you're talking about the control unit on the drivers door that has the lock and window buttons, it is held on by a metal clip on the front.

Look at it on the replacement you have. It's in front of the door lock switch.

You'll have to slide a flat screwdriver under the trim and push the metal clip in while at the same time pulling up the front with your hand. Takes a little work as the clip tends to snag on the door material. Don't pull up too hard or you might break the trim.

Once you have the unit out, turn it over and use the screwdriver to push the little plastic tab on the wire connector in and twist. It should pop out a little and let you pull it out easily afterwards.
