Rain Woes

Ok so whenever it rains...well when it pours out my car starts to act up like crazy. i seem to be getting symptoms almost as if my MAFS is bad. the RPMS will be very jerky and only alow the engine to rev to 2300-2600 rpm. if i let it sit it will stall and if i go to turn it stalls. i was under the car last night and couldnt figure ne thing out for the life of me. no exposed wires...nothin. so i let the car sit for like 15 minutes, too it out for a drive and it was fine. but this seems to happen only when it rains. What on earth could it be? i had a CAI and i took that off becuase i thought that was the culprit about a month ago so im runnin a WAI but i dont know what else could be the problem. the plugs are also brand new as well

Clean the MAF sensor element with rubbing alcahol. Or dissconnect the MAF when it rains next time and see if it still drives stupid.

Swap the MAF with another Maxima and see if it fixes it.

might be some sort of moisture getting into your fuel, (only during rain), i had water in my system, and had the same systoms. (it was a B**ch to get it all out)
