AHHH Dead bird in my engine

My mom used to drive the maxima and now iv had it for a year... 3 years ago she hit a bird and it got stuck somewhere in the engine, the dealer claimed they cleaned it. Today i climb under the car and see some weird thing stuck in the undercover plastic. pull on it just to realize its feathers of the dead bird... NASTY!!!!

PS , anybody know how much HP gain i get with a dead bird in my engine?

Just feathers or the whole bird? You should see what a snake in your car will do...

animals do crazy things. a long time ago i was just looking around under the hood trying to locate my knock sensor and I found a rats nest with carpet threads and hair and all kinds of crap from my garage sitting right in the V of the engine! to this day I can still reach in there with this spring loaded claw tool and yank out a little hairball...i should really clean it all out one of these days.

Yea so a bird is nothing. I got a BIG CAT in my exhaust. I think that's why my gas mileage sucks, not enough exhaust flow...

The back of the cat does not restrict flow. Stop trying to make excuses for your ****ty car and its' bad MPG

How did a bird hitting your car get into the engine? Or even the engine compartment?

Well I took a closer look and it seems it is only a pice of that poor bird looks like a wing or somthing, the rest of it mustev been removed. Mom told me that she actuay saw worms dropping out from the engine compartment when the bird was decaying
I will POST pics tommorw

Ive gone back showing them the bolts they used for my y pipe when they had to replace it. I hit a semi truck tire on the freeway and ripped my Y and B pipe as well as my cat almost completely off...

Bastards used nuts and bolts that didnt even fit!
