Help w/2 issues! Catalytic converter and control arms...

Issue 1: I installed an Arvin direct fit catalytic converter from AutoZone. I now have an exhaust leak (and I used new gaskets). What else can I do to fix this?

Issue 2: I also installed replacement control arms found on eBay. I now have a high pitched squeal (like brake noise) when making right turns. I drove the car up on ramps, double checked my installation and everything appeared OK. I did find new scrapes on the inner dust shield by each caliper (lower part). Has anyone experienced this or do you have any suggestions to remedy this?

Thanks for all of your help!

1) Re do the connections making sure they are lined up correctly.

2) Bend the dust shield further away from the rotor.
