Side Markers that do what they are supposed to

There is a write up on how to wire the FRONT side marker to blink with the front.

http://www.geocities.com/amixam69/nissan/markerblink/

I was wandering if we could get one to go for the BACK?
Utilizing the little 194 bulb at the side and have it blink alternating with the indicator.
A lot of people say it has no use so I thought it would be a good idea to put it to use.
I’m not an electrical expert so I don’t know which wires to play with.

if you really wanted to you could I suppose. Though aren't your rear turn signals quite a bit brighter?

They are brighter, but i find it wierd that if you want to change lanes say on the highway, other motorists would know your intentions unless they were behind you or in front.

Correct me if im wrong but isnt there something thats says a cars indicator light should be seend from the side. (ie. a side marker or an indicator that wraps around to the side)?

i feel the same way. however, if you were in a position where u could not see the front or rear blinkers, the only spot that would be is right next to the car. In this arrangement, both drivers and their vehicles 'should' be visible to each other in plain view.

as for the front blinker mod, i did it and i love it. especially at night wher the blinking alternates. At an intersection, it helps especially when you're making a turn with oncoming traffic. it gives the other cars a sense of which direction you'll be turning. the rear 194 bulb would be so dim in comparison to the rear blinker i don't think it'd be any harm or good imo.

I wouldn't even bother with it. When I cleared out my taillights, I hooked that little side marker light up the turn signal wires and put in an amber bulb. It wasn't worth it, because its such a small bulb, it isn't bright at all.
