hello evry one.
my struts r dead.
i m thinking about tokiko hp blues kit struts & springs.$420 on ebay
what is your apinion on them, how mouch is the drop,and how good they r for city drive like brooklyn ny,where we have a lot of pod holes.
i have to sai it i like stif ride,i dont like soft.

I believe you dont want to be dropped on blues. They are prone to blow when combined with aftermarket springs.

ok what u all think about this for evry day driving in the city like brooklyn ny, where we have a lot of pod holes and snow. and i dont want illuminas or any adjustble ones.

I know you said you don't want adjustables, but seriously with pot holes get the Illumina's only $120 more, set em and forget em!

That's the set I have on my car. They're fine. 20K miles on them so far. Nothing blew. If you drop it past 2inches, they will blow, as far as I've heard. the only instances where the blues were blowing prematurely, is when they were mated with springs that gave a huge drop over stock height. I don't think Tokico would have matched the two together if they knew the drop was too much for the struts. If you want adjustablility, get the Illuminas. If you just want a bit of lowering, and a upgrade in handling over stock, get the blue kit.

He means if you get the hp blue struts then combine with agressive springs like tein s techs which provide a drop more then 2 inches the struts will blow
