getting a "ticking" noise when applying brakes after long drive...
After my brakes have heated up, I noticed I get a "ticking" noise when I apply the breaks...primarly from the front end. I do have x-drilled rotors, but I wouldn't suspect that the holes against the pad would cause this noise. Has anyone here experienced this before? What is the cause and fix?
Thanks

my car did the same thing after i installed some 13 bucks brake pad form autozone(biggest mistake ever made lol) it would click when ever i apply the brake. it clicks really loud right out of the caliper. i couldn`t take it no more after about 2 weeks and replaced the pad with some 33 bucks pad from autozone LOL. and found out the cheaper pad is about 4 mm shorter then the new ones.
no more click after replacement.
no more click after replacement.
