Camber Bolts....yea or nea?

Installing Illumina S-Tech combo next week, should I bother with camber bolts? Camber Bolts I'm guessing it would be 2 per side up front?

Most people say that if you dropping more then 2 inches your gonna need to get the bolts. And if i am correct the S-tech is 2.2 drop infront and 1.8 or 2 in the back ...

Camber bolts come in a pair, one for each side. Some are running the S-techs with no camber bolts, so I dont see why you should need them.

Depends on the car. Some people can get their cars to (or close to) factory specs without the camber kit. Others cannot. I've seen a few people need the camber kit with only a moderate drop.

You won't know for sure until you try to get it aligned. The mysteries of suspension...

Just make sure you check their tightness regularly. Both the tab types and diff diameter crash bolts could come loose over time.

Glad I saw this thread, and it answers my question too.

Forgive my ignorance, but how are "camber bolts" helping to get within spec? I find it hard to imagine a new set of botls over the stock ones can get it into alignment? Camber plates sounds like the ideal solution, but seeing the price at stillens web site is pretty discouraging.

I guess I should anticipate on getting some camber bolts also, I too have s tech and AGX but havent put them on yet. The only kicker is it would be a shame to buy them and not need them, but then it would be a shame to not buy them, order my dustboots from them, then need to bolts, I could save on some shipping.

I brought mine with me when I took it in for alignment but didn't need them. Hardly threw off my camber going to the S-Tech's.

I have 17's so I know I needed them. I drove 1600 miles before putting them in and paid for it! 4 new tires! 600mile road trip one way eats rubber if not properly aligned. If you have 18's you might be ok.
