Why is the evap- system making noise?????????
Ok heres whats going on... when i accelerate i can hear the EVAP purge volume control valve OR the EVAP purge cut valve making a lot of noise... it sounds like grinding... i dont have the MIL light on but the car has a big power loss.... I have done a COMPLETE tune up... so i know its not the problem... i have new 02 sensors also.... the engine is in perfect shape.. ( no oil consumption) What do you guys think?

I highly doubt your hearing the EVAP system.
One of those valves is behind the left rear wheel and there basically just switches, open or closed. Plus the EVAP system only purges when the car is at operating temp, at crusing speed with little to no load on the engine, not while your accellerating.
