Cold start problem...

I just recently have been having a small problem at startup and I am hoping you all can help me figure it out.

When I go out in the morning and start my car it will start but then the idle will go up to ~1500rpm and move around a bit +-300rpm and the engine will sound/feel like it is stumbling. Then if I start to drive (when it is till cold ~2min after start) the car will hesitate and bog sometimes backfiring if the rpm drops low enough, but once the temp gage move past the lower hash it is normal again no trouble at all... I have no CEL and no codes also the car has 47k on it. This just started after I did an oil change, spark plug change, air filter cleaning, and fuel filter change (I had the codes checked when I did my tags ~ 2 weeks after all of this was done).

It could be your Engine Coolant Temp Sensor... if this is starting to fail.. it will give wrong temp readings and will make the car think it is either overheating or to cold. Sensor is in your upper radiator hose, the stickies tell you what the normal operating parameters should be for you to compare.
